How do I change the length of the Women’s watch Mesh bracelet?

• You can change the length of the Women’s watch Mesh bracelet on your own with the right tool by loosening the buckle and then adjusting/pulling the buckle to adjust the length of the bracelet to your wrist. If you find it difficult to do this yourself, we recommend that you take your Lucas Pretoria wristwatch to your nearest authorized watchmaker to make this adjustment.

Men’s watches

Are the Men’s watch straps removable and attachable?

• Yes, you can easily remove and attach leather straps and stainless steel link straps on your own by moving a pin (leather straps) or two pins (stainless steel link strap) towards the center of the strap width on the bottom side of the strap, next to the case. The removable and attachable straps fits the Men’s watch Model M11.

How do I change the length of Stainless steel link strap for the Men’s watch?

• You can change the length of the Men’s watch link strap on your own with the right tool by removing the pins that hold the respective link in place to adjust the strap length to your wrist. It is important that the pins are put back in the same direction as they were before they were pulled out, otherwise the pins risk cracking and breaking. If you find it difficult to do this yourself, we recommend that you take your Lucas Pretoria wristwatch to your nearest authorized watchmaker to make the adjustment.

Battery

How do I change the battery on my LP watch?

• By using a tool called Case Opener you can easily open the cover/back case on the back of the case, it is clearly visible where you can attach the Case Opener to open the cover/back case. Remember to do this with care so you don’t scratch the cover/back case. After the battery has been replaced, the cover/back case must be placed back in the same place. To be able to put back the cover/back case, a special tool called Case press is required. The Case press must have correct measurements in millimeters that match the Watch Case of the respective watch model. If you lack these tools or find this difficult, we recommend that you take your Lucas Pretoria wristwatch to the nearest authorized watchmaker to perform the battery replacement.

• Start by reading the watch Manual included in your watch box to see how to set the time and date. Before you can set the time and date, you need to remove the plastic seal on the crown of the watch. Once the plastic seal is removed, you can set the correct date and time. Before you start using your new watch from Lucas Pretoria, you should also remove all plastic protection on the case, crown, strap and buckle to get the best possible watch experience.
