Warranty, Complaint & Return policy

1. Warranty

Your Lucas Pretoria watch have two (2) years warranty from the date of the purchase. It is important that you save your order confirmation, it acts as your guarantee-certificate. The receipt from the date of your purchase is also your proof of warranty. The warranty is not valid if the watch case has been opened by someone other than an authorized watchmaker within the Lucas Pretoria company. The Lucas Pretoria warranty can be used for material defects or manufacturing defects.

The Lucas Pretoria warranty cannot be used for the following:
► non-LP watches.
► battery life.
► damage caused by normal use, ageing, color change of the strap (leather, textile, rubber), link straps, the glass (scratches), the strap attachment and any other part not expressly mentioned.
► damage caused by abnormal use, excessive use or as a result from lack of care, negligence, or accidents (impacts).
► routine maintenance and cleaning.
► watch boxes.

– How do I use my Warranty?

To use your warranty, all of the following information must be provided in your email to us:

► Information about what your matter is about.
► Order confirmation (including order number).
► Description of the product.
► Attached images of the front and back of the product.
► Receipt.
► Your First and Last Name.
► Your delivery address.
► Your email address.
► Your phone number.

2. Complaint

When complaining about your purchased product directly from Lucas Pretoria AB and when the product is defective at the time of delivery, you have the right to complain about your product to us. Examine your product and send us the complaint as soon as possible. If you have complaint about the product to us within two months from the time you discovered the defect, the product is always considered to have reached us in time. The right to complain expires three years after the product was delivered to you in your original order.

– How do I proceed with a complaint?

When you want to make a complaint about a product that you bought from Lucas Pretoria AB, you must notify this to us by email.
The following must be clearly stated in the email:

► Description of the product.
► Attached images of the front and back of the product.
► Your First and Last Name.
► Your delivery address.

3. Right to withdraw

– What applies when returning/right to withdraw an ordered product?

If you wish to return your ordered product for a refund, the following criteria must be met:

► The company Lucas Pretoria must have received your request to return the ordered product within 30 days*, counted from the date you received the product from Lucas Pretoria.
► You must have ordered your product directly from our website: www.lucaspretoria.com
► Product that is returned must be unused with protective plastic and sealing intact and untouched, and in the same new condition as when the product was received in the original order.
► When returning a product, it must be returned in the original packaging.

– What information should I provide in the email to Lucas Pretoria if I regret my purchase and wish to return my product?

Your email to us must include the following:

► Information about what your matter is about.
► Order confirmation (including order number).
► Your First and Last Name.
► Your delivery address.
► Your email address.
► Your phone number.

Your approved return is of course free of charge for you and you will receive a pre-paid shipping label.
*In some occasions, a different return period may occur – for example if a campaign is active, this information will be available in the campaign, or at any other specific occasions, information will be available what applies.

– How do I receive the free of charge prepaid shipping label?

After we have received your email and if you meet all our criterias, a prepaid shipping return label will be created. We will then get back to you via email with further information on how to proceed. You will then be able to click on the link below (click on the country you ordered the product to and from the country you wish to return the product).

– When is a refund made after I have returned the ordered product?

Once your return has been received by Lucas Pretoria AB, we will send you an email to let you know that we have received your returned product. We will also notify you of approval or denial of a refund. It is important that all of our returned product requirements are met in order for you to receive approval and a refund.

If your returned product is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be returned to your credit card or to your original payment method within a certain number of days.

– Where do I hand in the ordered product for return?

When returning, you must follow the instructions given in your link below for the country, which you both ordered the product to and which you wish to return the product from. Return of goods takes place via DHL Freight for almost all countries we deliver to, but with the exception of Great Britain and Norway – return of goods from these two countries instead takes place via UPS.
